RETURN

It was a great day if you like 90 degree heat, it was even hot up at the 2/3 point on the mountain where these pictures were taken. I should have had ASA 100 instead of 400, but excuses are like... anyway.

Frank Sprongl, the quiet skinny guy from Ontario, won for the second year in a row, he didn't break last year's new record of 6:41.99 but I think 6:43.11 is pretty damn close for a 20 degree hotter day. PS, he was driving an Audi.

Frank didn't finish his morning run, so it all had to happen on the second, afternoon, try.

Success comes to those who throw caution to the wind and drive on three tires...

You can see the right rear wheel is in the air - but it did look and sound better in person!

RETURN

Anyway, the first one up the mountain has to carry this funny looking flag all the way back down:

It was nice to see a car "like mine" on the hill. I think this was NH's own Ray Blethen driving what appears to be a 1984 Coupe GT... nice parts car!

These next four pictures would seem to indicate what I think cars should look like!
